Mt. Zion Baptist Church

Mt. Zion is the Lord’s Church striving to do His will. We are a people-building ministry with a vision of worshipping, studying, sharing, caring, and serving through our service and witness.

We pray that you will visit Mt. Zion and worship with us on Sunday morning (7:45 and 11:00 a.m.) or Wednesday evening (7:00 p.m.). You may visit one of our many Sunday School classes. We have classes for youth and adults.

Our prayer is that you will come and join us soon. We want you to have a “HALLELUJAH” good time and experience the goodness of Jesus for yourself.

Marriage Ministry Annual Sweetheart Dinner

Marriage Ministry

On February 20, 2010, we will be hosting our

Annual Sweetheart Dinner in the Fellowship Hall.

Those couples who have participated in the 40

week Love Dare Journey will also be renewing

their wedding vows. Tickets for the Sweetheart

Dinner are $30 per couple. Tickets will be available

in the foyer after the 7:45 and 11:00 a.m.

services.

Ticket purchases are required to attend.

If you do not plan to attend the Sweetheart

Dinner, please join us in Celebrating Marriage as

we recommit to one another and especially to

God. The Vow Renewal is at 7:00 p.m. on February

20th in the Sanctuary.

The Sweetheart Dinner will immediately follow

the Vow Renewal. Any married or engaged

couples can attend the Sweetheart Dinner.

True Love Waits

Let’s talk about sex! Now that I have your

attention. If you are age 12 to 18 by January

16th, wouldn’t you like to know what the Word of

God says about your body? Do you want to

know how to stay pure in mind and body? It’s

not all about sex, it’s about the choices you

make. We invite you to the 2010 sessions of

True Love Waits. The 1st of 6 sessions will meet

January 16th. There will be an information session

for parents and guardians on January 9th

at 2:00 PM. Please join us as the lives of our

youth are at risk.
